With all the unrest around the globe, worrying about what we see and hear is something we all experience. Being concerned, worrying, etc is a natural reaction, but once we realize we are worrying more than the initial and natural reaction it is our job to deal with the issue before it gets out of hand.
Here are a few scriptures that address worrying directly:
1 Pe 5:7 Cast all your worries on Him, for He cares for you.
Ps 68:20 Blessed be my Lord! Day by day He bears our burdens— the God of our salvation! Selah
Mt 6:27 And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
Mt 6:31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32 For the pagans eagerly pursue all these things; yet your Father in heaven knows that you need all these. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Php 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always—again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all people. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything—but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the shalom of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua.
